Carvin' Rubber...

I've always loved print-making, and have meant to do some linoleum cuts for the past year or so. An opportunity (or kick-in-the-pants...) came up recently when the local Greyhound Pets of America asked me to help with a fund raiser. This little guy was my test-image on rubber instead of linoleum. (Soooo much easier to carve than lino!). Apparently the rubber-stamping craze that's been going on for the past several years has inspired do-it-yourself rubber stamps. Who knew? Not me! Well, my lovely new friend Cherna spent some time with me last week showing me the joys of making your own rubber stamps! Woo-hoo! Watch for my bigger greyhound print in August!
